About Triptych

Now in its eighth year, Triptych continues to highlight Tennent's Lager's allegiance to exceptional music, from grassroots agitation to international ardour, with an annual and unparalleled bill that has rendered it one of Europe's most inventive, exhilarating music festivals. It runs at the end of April, through Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.

Triptych strives to provide a quality, accessible, nationwide programme whose divergent sonic calibre has one critical element in common: timelessness. This far-reaching and audacious manifesto has come to define a Triptych stronghold that celebrates global icons, sonic iconoclasts, seminal cinema and auspicious local talent: many of contemporary music's most extraordinary artists, from round the corner and round the world, have hence revelled in Scotland for several heady days and nights.

Tennent's Lager is set to launch Triptych 08 in the coming weeks but, until then, please feel free to browse the website, which is fully active and constantly updated with exceptional, diverse music and exclusive content, all year round. You can access upfront news and artist announcements; tune into myriad live sets from previous Triptych shows; read exclusive interviews; hear Top 10 sonic selections from erstwhile performers and Triptych friends; enjoy the audio-visual fruits of our annual film competition; stream thousands of ever-augmented Triptych and related tracks. And there's a comprehensive artist archive with details of all who have played thus far...

The regular Triptych newsletter also dispatches upfront news, artist updates, information on events of interest, exclusive ticket offers and aural ephemera through the year. Click 'join mailing list' for details.
