Krafty KutsDishing out break-beats as one might a banquet, Sussex deck-chief A.Skillz delivers an ambrosial platter of hot funk, hip-hop, toasty breaks and immaculate scratching: a refined concoction that's reaped him plaudits among DJs from Steve Lamacq to Annie Mac.
In 2003, A.Skillz released his debut album, 'TrickaTechnology', in tandem with Triptych 08 confederate Krafty Kuts – a Brighton break-beat superhero, DJ, scratch-master, electro club troubler and hip-hop mutineer.
KK – aka Martin Reeves – has shared stages with the lurid likes of Roni Size, Fatboy Slim, The Jungle Brothers, Armand van Helden and of course A.Skillz. A dexterous, hell-bent remixer, Krafty Kuts has transformed the works of such musical gallants as Jurassic 5, Eric B & Rakim, Arthur Baker and – notably – the imposing "Humanoid", by Stakker Humanoid.
